Statement of ICYF Executive Board regarding the French President Macron’s recent attack on Islam

The recent expression of “Islam is in crisis and should be reformed.” was another clear confession of Mr. Emmanuelle Macron, The President of France, on his antagonistic and hallucinate perception of Islam and Muslims Along with the systematic human rights violations and outrages against both in Muslim societies and Muslim majority countries; the recent clear approach to marginalization of the Muslim citizens of France by insulting the shared values of the Islam, are clear attests that Mr. Macron is construing Muslims as his enemies. Furthermore, it is a clear literality that Islam, the complete and the perfect religion which is blessed as a gift to Humanity by Allah (SWT), shan’t be reformed under any circumstances.
In addition, it is irrational to perceive the ideas of Macron, who is far from inheriting human rights values, cannot be considered reasonable on the subject of discussion at any level.
As an inevitable outcome of the vicious political environment in France, Mr. Macron was elected instead of his the racist political rival, though it has become abundantly clear that there is no difference between the two competitors in terms of racism so long the building block values of France, structured over human rights, freedoms, and democratic values, are under the major risk of diminishment.
The said meaningless and hallucinate Presidential level statements are highly regrettable and frightening in terms of being a materialized prove for the warnings pointed out a few months ago by the EU Foreign Policy Representative Borrell, as it risks the regression of Europe in shifting back to cursed crusader mentality of Dark Age Era . It is therefore our duty to remind all Muslim societies to be vigilant against said anti-Muslim and anti-Islamic rhetoric and to struggle against this discourse in all democratic ways.
The French President’s recent statement on Islam coincided with a provocative move by Charlie Hebdo, a left-wing French magazine infamous for publishing anti-Islamic caricatures, which have drawn widespread anger and outrage across the Muslim world. Such practices hurt the sentiments of around 2 billion Muslims and amount to an assault on religious symbols, beliefs and sanctities.
