Within a framework of 11th International Economic Summit «Russia – Islamic world» pitch practice of the 5th Kazan OIC Youth Entrepreneurship Forum also took place in Kazan Expo.
50 participants – authors of 30 IT start-up projects gathered in High technology park «IT-Park» in Kazan to make business contacts and to attract investments for IT start-ups. The best projects of the Forum was presented to the investors at the 11th International economic summit «Russia – Islamic world: KazanSummit 2019».
The Grand Investment Pitching Sessions of the 5th Kazan OIC Youth Entrepreneurship Forum, which has been started on 20 April, has finished its work on 26 April 2019 in Kazan, with the participation of H.E Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, H.E. Mr. Taha Ayhan, ICYF President and Mr. Damir Fattahov. Minister of youth affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During 6 days participants were:
-Preparing for the pitch -sessions with the participation of investors and honourable guests;
-Broadening their perspectives by attending fruitful workshops;
-Learning different things about Tatar culture;
The Closing Ceremony started with the welcoming remarks of H.E Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan and H.E. Mr. Taha Ayhan, ICYF President.
H.E. Taha Ayhan, ICYF President stated that he is proud to address closing ceremony of 5th Kazan OIC Youth Entrepreneurship Forum, an important venue for the Startup investment Pitching Session of the Startup Platform for OIC Member States that allows outstanding youth entrepreneurs to present their projects to leading investors, contributing, in this context, to reduction of the number of youth unemployment as one of the main problems of the Muslim world.
He also expressed his appreciation and thanks to Mr. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Republic of Tatarstan, for his continued high patronage, attendance and support for this yearly Entrepreneurship Forum, which has also the outstanding contribution of Ministry of Youth Affairs of Republic of Tatarstan and other local institutions. “I believe that the presence of His Excellency the President is a commitment ensuring that young entrepreneurs coming from different parts of OIC geography can mark Kazan as their destination to fulfil their dreams” Mr.Ayhan added.
The Eurasian Regional Center of ICYF, has organized a promotional stand on Doha OIC Youth Capital 2019 – the international program of ICYF during the 11th International Economic Summit «Russia – Islamic World: Kazan Summit 2019» held in Kazan, Tatarstan on April 24-26.
