H.E. Taha Ayhan, the ICYF President met with H.E. Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan (RF) on the margins of the Second Kazan Global Youth Summit jointly organized by ICYF and the Government of Tatarstan on 27-30 August, 2023. Apprasing ICYF’s contribution to the successful implementation of the Summit, H.E. Minnikhanov highlighted the importance of the futher cooperation between the Government of Tatarstan and ICYF for the sake of youth betterment in the region. The ICYF President highly appreciated the efforts and contributions by the Tatarstan Government in the field of youth empowerment and reiterated eagerness to promote and support new initiatives and ideas aimed at the prosperity of young people in the OIC Geography and beyond.

At the end of the meeting, Rais of Tatarstan presented the ICYF President with the state award – the medal of “100 years of the establishment of the Tatarstan Republic – for his dedication and contribution to the development of youth in Tatarstan.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Board of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth “Movement of the First” Grigory Gurov, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) Damir Fattakhov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Leyla Fazleeva and others.
