On 3 July 2025, the ICYF delegation, headed by H.E. Taha Ayhan, the ICYF President and composed by Mr. Rasul Omarov, the ICYF Director-General, and Mr. Timur Suleymanov, Advisor to the ICYF President visited the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) in Rabat, Morocco. Mr. Ayhan participated in the International Symposium on “Translation and Security”, which kicked off on Wednesday at ICESCO’s headquarters.

During the visit, the ICYF President and his accompanying delegation were received by H.E. Dr. Salim M. Al-Malik, the ICESCO’s Director-General. The parties discussed new perspectives on cooperation and collaboration for the empowerment of Muslim Youth in the OIC Geography and beyond. The ICYF President provided an overview of the Forum’s initiatives and flagship programs, while the ICESCO Director-General highlighted the Organization’s youth development initiatives, in particular the Young Professionals Program and Youth Training Program, which support small technology and innovation projects. The meeting concluded with the signing of an MoU aimed at identifying the specific scope of cooperation between the two institutions.
