The next event on the margins of the Marrakech OIC Youth Capital 2025 dedicated volunteerism was held in Marrakech, Morocco on 22-26 September 2025
On the margins of the Marrakech OIC Youth Capital 2025, the next event – the Conference on “Volunteering: Reality and Prospects” kicked off on 23 September 2025 in Marrakech, Morocco. The event aimed at shedding light on the importance of volunteerism in the societies, particularly in muslim communities.
The opening session of the conference featured keynote speeches given by Mr. Mohamed Ouziane, Director of Cooperation, Communication, and Legal Studies at the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication of the Kingdom of Morocco, director of the Marrakech OIC Youth Capital activities, and Mr. Rasul Omarov, the ICYF Director-General. By underlining the Kingdom’s main policies and contributions promoting volunteerism among youth Mr Ouzyane talked about how volanteering contributes to improving quality of life and promoting community development, fostering a culture of coexistence and positive interaction among members of society.
In his speech, Mr Omarov highlighted the role the ICYF plays to promote voluntarism through its diverse activities and events like the ICYF International Young Volunteers Camps, creating the space for Muslim youths to bond which is annually held in Antalya, Türkiye.
على هامش فعاليات مراكش عاصمة شباب العالم الإسلامي لسنة 2025، عقد الحدث التالي- تحت عنوان “العمل التطوعي: واقع وآفاق” في تاريخ 23 سبتمبر 2025 في مدينة مراكش، المملكة المغربية. هدف الحدث على تسليط الضوء على أهمية العمل التطوعي في تكوين المجتمعات، خصوصاً في المجتمعات الإسلامية.
بدأت الجلسة بكلمات افتتاحية ألقاها كلٌّ من السيد محمد أوزيان، مدير التعاون والتواصل والدراسات القانونية بوزارة الشباب والثقافة والتواصل للمملكة المغربية، والسيد رسول عُمَرُوف، المدير العام لمنتدى التعاون الإسلامي للشباب. تحدث السيد أوزيان عن كيفية مساهمة العمل التطوعي في تحسين نوعية الحياة وتعزيز تنمية المجتمع وتعزيز ثقافة التعايش والتفاعل الإيجابي بين أفراد المجتمع من خلال تسليط الضوء على سياسات ومساهمات المملكة المغربية في تعزيز العمل التطوعي بين الشباب.
وفي خطاب السيد عُمَرُوف، قام بتسليط الضوء على الدور الذي يقوم به منتدى التعاون الإسلامي للشباب في ترويج العمل التطوعي من خلال مختلف أنشطته وفعالياته المتنوعة مثل البرنامج السنوي “المخيم التطوعي للشباب الدولي”، الذي ينشئ مساحة للشباب المسلمين للتواصل ويتم قيامه في مدينة أنطاليا، تركيا.
