The Youth Legislation and Multiple Approaches workshop, held between 22-23 October 2025 on the margins of the Marrakesh OIC Youth Capital 2025, concluded with a Closing Ceremony celebrating the outcomes of an enriching two-day exchange. Selected participants shared reflections on the outcomes that emerged from their respective working groups and provided feedback on the draft Marrakesh Declaration on the Youth Initiative for the Charter of the Youth of the Islamic World. This landmark unifying reference framework for cooperation and joint action seeks to establish a new era for youth, founded on justice, equality, dignity, and solidarity, under the encompassing values of Islam and universal humanity.

In their closing remarks, Mr Rasul Omarov, the Director-General of ICYF, and Mr Mohamed Ouziane, the Director of Cooperation, Communication and Legal Studies at the Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, commended the participants for their active engagement and forward-looking vision, and encouraged them to continue innovating and collaborating with relevant institutions. They reiterated the commitment of both the Forum and the Ministry to facilitating youth empowerment initiatives across the OIC region and beyond.
