The Khojaly Genocide left many scars that are yet to heal, painful memories of loved ones dying and the destruction of thousands of homes is a story that only a blessed few survived to tell. The decades-long conflict which led to the deaths of many Azeris has come back to haunt them again as can be seen by the recent attempt to annex the region. We were lucky enough to visit the place earlier this year and hear from one of the survivors, the great tragedy that befell them on one dark night of fear terror.
