During his official visit to the Republic of Niger, ICYF President, H.E. Taha Ayhan, attended the inauguration of the Torodi Project, an agriculture and aquaculture production facility in the Torodi Region of Niger. The project was initiated by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in collaboration with ICYF and Jeunesse Environnement Démocratie et Développement (JEDD). Facilitating the production of vegetables, fruits, and fish, the Torodi project aimed at combating poverty by empowering and equipping the youth with skills and knowledge in Agriculture and farming. The project also encourages young people to take part in the training programs, which will secure jobs for an estimated number of 200 young people in Niger.
