At the closing ceremony of the 5th ICYF General Assembly in Istanbul, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş, reiterated that the world is bigger than five referring to the current global system and status quo that has failed to prevent and contain injustices and human rights violations like those in Gaza. He emphasized the importance of cooperation not just as an element of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, but as a continuous practice for believers of the Muslim faith, who have the responsibility of coming together to address our common challenges.
