During his visit to Elazığ, Turkey, ICYF President Mr. Taha Ayhan and Director General of Turkish Red Crescent Dr. Ibrahim Altan signed a cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the parties will jointly organize volunteering projects and humanitarian aid training programs to equip youth of the OIC countries with capacities and necessary skills needed in humanitarian crises. Having already implemented a training camp for Voluntary and Humanitarian Work for 74 young volunteers from 53 countries, ICYF aims to train more young people working closely with disaster management authorities and institutions.
