ICYF Delegation spearheaded by H.E. Taha Ayhan attended the 4th Ordinary Congress of Pan African Youth Union which took place in Niamey, Niger between 15-16 of November 2021.
Addressing the Opening Ceremony of the 4th Ordinary Congress of Pan African Youth Union, the ICYF President H.E. Taha Ayhan reiterated ICYF’s readiness to work with different Governments, Institutions like the African Union, the Pan African Youth Union and other youth related institutions to create platforms for youth that will amplify their voices and provide concrete plans of action for their inclusion in different domains of development. Mr. Ayhan further extended his thanks and appreciation to the People of the Republic of Niger for their gracious hospitality.
In attendance were the Prime Minister of Niger, Minister of Youth and Sports of Burkina Faso, Governor of Niamey, President of the Pan African Youth Union and President of National Youth Council of Niger, and Diplomatic corps among other high level dignitaries. The said Conference saw the participation of 1000 participants from the 55 Member States of the African Union and some prominent International Institutions.
