ICYF, IsDB, and the University of Birmingham co-organized a side event titled “Empowering Conflict-Affected Women and Girls for Sustainable Peace” at CSW68 held in UN Headquarters, New York, on 18 March 2024. The event highlighted women’s important role in peacebuilding, aligning with UN Resolution 1325. Distinguished speakers addressed challenges and strategies for enhancing socio-economic empowerment. The event aimed to raise awareness and promote active engagement of women and girls in peace processes.
