The 8th installment of the International ILEM Summer School (IIS-8) officially kicked off with an opening ceremony organized at the Ayasofya Medrese of Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University in Istanbul on Monday, the 24th of July 2023. Among the important guests who graced the occasion were H.E. Taha Ayhan, ICYF President; H.E. Mahmud Erol Kılıç, the Director of IRCICA; Dr. Fahameddin Başar, the Deputy Rector of Fatih Sultan Mehmet University; Prof. Lütfi Sunar & Prof. Nihat Erdoğmuş, the Chairman of the Board of ILKE; Mr. Taha Eğri, the Chairman of ILEM; and Mr. Ali Eşlik from the ORANJE Institute.
