H.E. Taha Ayhan, the ICYF President strongly condemns the recent attacks and the incursion by the Israeli forces into the sacred Al-Aqsa Mosque by banning worship inside the Mosque, injuring more than 200 Palestinian worshippers and arresting hundreds of others.

This continued aggression is a systematic violation of resolutions of the international legitimacy, humanitarian norms, individual freedom, by targeting the freedom of worship of the Palestinian People and the status of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, particularly during the blessed month of Ramadan.
The ICYF President refers to the OIC resolutions, which reaffirm the centrality of the cause of Al-Quds Al-Sharif for the whole Islamic Ummah and emphasizes the need to defend the sanctity of the Islamic and Christian holy places.
On his own behalf and on behalf of the ICYF Executive Board as well, Mr. Ayhan reiterates the Forum’s unconditional support and solidarity with the Palestinian people and salutes the steadfastness of the Palestinian people as well as their just and valiant struggle to realize their legitimate national aspirations and inalienable rights to independence in the framework of two-state solution recognized by the International Community.
