On 18-31 May 2020, the ICYF, in partnership with Turkish Red Crescent, Global One, Launch Good, MEDISINA, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, UN Volunteers, BEVOL, and US State Department, organized the “Online Volunteering Training Program”. The program addressed the values, scope, and motivation of volunteering and the impact of volunteering on youth’s peace and development. It also helped provide an online volunteering platform to promote volunteering during humanitarian crises, while equipping young volunteers with civic and human rights education. This training program established a young volunteers’ network for sustainable solutions for pandemics, epidemic natural disasters, and humanitarian crises.
