The “Youth at the Center of Inclusive Social Development: Strengthening Participation and Policy Engagement for Social Justice” side event, jointly organized by ICYF and the OIC on the margins of the 64th Session of the Commission for Social Development (CSocD64), was held successfully at United Nations Headquarters on 6 February 2026.

H.E. Taha Ayhan, President of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum, delivered the welcoming remarks. He was joined by H.E. Ambassador Hameed Ajibaiye Opeloyeru, Permanent Observer of the OIC to the UN; Ms Dana Podmolikova, Programme Management Specialist for Youth at the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations; and Ms Jeanne Gonelle, Youth Advocate at the McGill Youth Advisory Delegation, who also delivered speeches during the event.
